The Austrian Federal Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry, Environment and Water Management (BMLFUW) and the Austrian Chamber of Commerce (WKO), in cooperation with the Austrian Association of Cities and Towns (Österreichischer Städtebund), the Austrian Association of Communities (Österreichischer Gemeindebund), the Pan European Programme on Transport, Health and Environment (THE PEP) and the European Platform on Mobility Management invited to this conference.
Climate protection, Green Mobility, energy saving and the enhancement of Renewable Energies have become a main priority on a global scale. For this reason, the conference focused on the exchange of experiences and presentations of good-practice examples of Mobility Management, EcoDriving and Green Logistics, both on an international and regional scale.
The Austrian Federal Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry, Environment and Water Management (BMLFUW) staged this conference within the scope of its programme #bestofaustria, alongside with the Pan European Programme on Transport, Health and Environment (THE PEP) and the Austrian Chamber of Commerce.
International and Austrian decision-makers in administration, private businesses, communities, cities and countries, working in the fields of transport, health and environment were the core target audience.
Furthermore the Austrian Climate Initiative klimaaktiv mobil presented its subsidies and provided detailed information on individual funding possibilities.
The third and final day offered hands-on experience in EcoDriving and the possibility to learn more about the latest e-vehicles.
The conference was carried out according to the Austrian Ecolabel for Green Meetings.
